The
Smartboard is touch-sensitive. It connects to your computer and
digital projector to show your computer image. Computer applications
can be controlled directly from the display. You can handwrite notes
in digital ink and save your work to share later. |
| We recommend this
board for KS1 because of it's ease of use - pupils can operate the
board directly by touch using their fingers or use the pens
provided. |

Promethean
Primary Activboards come with a brilliant software package
that really brings the technology and your teaching to life. Prepare
your lesson on your laptop at a time convenient for you - then hook
it up to the activboard and deliver - easy! |
| This interactive
whiteboard has the 'presence' and the software to command the
attention of KS2 pupils |
We serve all of the
Midlands and Northwest of England |

Kirkpatrick Sound Engineering have taken
their wide experience of audio visual systems installation into Britain's
schools to assist the technical revolution taking place in teaching using
interactive whiteboards from SMART™ Technologies inc and Promethean UK
Our experience in the field of audio-visual technology has arisen from our
involvement in prestigious projects such as the Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre
3D Theatre and the Merseyside Police Training Centre suite. The vast
majority of our work comes through customer recommendation and we are proud
of our good reputation in the professional sound and audio-visual business.
All Kirkpatrick Sound Engineering installations are carried out by or
directly supervised by Roy D. Kirkpatrick (MinstSCE) who has only one
benchmark - Excellence!
So, If you are looking for an installer for
your interactive whiteboards and want to avoid the pitfalls -
we've all
heard the horror stories:
- Sub contractors turning up on wrong
dates or to the wrong school
- Poor supervision of subcontractors
- Kit installed but waiting for electrical
subcontractors before you can use it( how frustrating is that?)
- Hours on the phone trying to talk to
someone at head office
- Promises made over the phone that don't
appear on the written quote
- Projectors crashing down from ceilings
- Fighting to get remedial work done once
the contractor has left site
- and they go on and on - and these are
often 'approved suppliers'
